Supplications of Ramadan

Question:

Asslam O Alekum

I hope you are fine. May Allah shower blessings of Ramadan on you and your family.

Sometime in ignorance we do things that lately we recognize wrong. In the same way, I did share a few duas (supplications) at my blog, but I never knew what those duas are, what is their source, what is their meaning? A lot of people read those dua from my blog, if those are wrong, the sin will come to me. Can you please take a look at them & tell me if they are correct & what is their source? If possible please explain me its meaning. Is it correct for people to read those duas.

Set 1

Dua for 1st Ashra (1-10 Ramadan)

Dua for 2nd Ashra (10-20 Ramadan)

Dua for 3rd Ashra (20-30 Ramadan)

Set 2

First 10 days of Blessed Ramadan are Mecry. we should seek to Allah’s Mercy with this dua;

(Allahumma arhamnee ya arhama rahimaeen)

Second 10 days are forgiveness, seek to Allah;

(Allahum-mgofirlee dhunoobee ya rabbal Alameen)

Third 10 days are Refuge from the Hellfire and enter into the Heaven, seek to Allah;

(Allahumma authiknee mina-nari va adhuhulnal jannatha ya rabbal Alameen).

Dear Brother

Wa alaikum us salam wa Rahmatullah e wa Barakatuhu

All of these prayers are good. There is nothing wrong in them. They are reported in different Ahadith. Although I’ve not found any basis for association of each prayer with specific decade of Ramadan. They can be read at any time.

I’ll advise you to add translation of these prayers on your blog. The translations are as follows (in sequence):

1.     O Live and Eternal (God)! I beg for Your mercy.

2.     I seek forgiveness from Allah, my Lord, for all of my sins and return (for repentance) to Him.

3.     O Allah! Protect me from the Hellfire.

4.     O Allah! O the Most Merciful in all benevolent ones! Bestow Your mercy upon me.

5.     O Allah! O the Lord of all worlds! Forgive my sins.

6.     O Allah! O the Lord of all worlds! Grant me freedom from the Hell and let me enter into the Paradise.

Remember in your prayers during Ramadan

wassalaam
