Women are as important as men for
the survival of human race. A woman is a great blessing of God in form of a sister,
a daughter and a wife. The most significant role of a woman is ‘the mother’.
A mother not only provides a baby with his basic physiological needs but also
establish a strong impact on his psychology. A child learns those things from
his mother which he cannot learn from the top university of the world…. All complex issues e.g. right,
wrong, monotheism, polytheism and determinism as well as practical matters
e.g. patience, simplicity, modesty are taught by the mother. If this primary
institute is not following the right path, then entire scheme of this life
becomes wrong.
Practical examples of this problem
can be seen in form of individual characters like Hitler, Mussolini and
Gengez Khan, as well as collective systems like the nations of Lut, A’ad and
Thamud. A moral issue may be developed in a woman’s personality from various
aspects but we want to draw their attention to only one aspect of their
personality i.e. extremism in exhibiting themselves. All of us know that the desire of
exhibitionism is more in women as compared to men. If this desire remains
within its limits, it increases the beauty of this world, but if it crosses
all the limits, it results in a disorder. In our society, women exhibit
themselves in various forms but the most prominent form is their dresses and
jewellery. Objective of dressing is not only
hiding the genitals but also to increase the beauty of one’s personality
provided that a person should not spend too much on it. If we look at the
attitude of our women, we find that their objective is often different. Most
of our women wear their dress to compete with other women. When they wear a
garment, they consider it useless for wearing again on another occasion. If a
woman does so, she has to face a lot of criticism from her friends. The taste
and status of a woman is determined by the cost of her dress. On the other side, the use of
jewellery is a big issue for the women. The gold, which is an extremely useless
metal, is expensive due to their demand. Why wearing steel jewellery is
considered shameful whereas wearing gold is considered respectful? Both of
them are simply metals. Value of gold is closely related to the old
psychology of women. This jewellery is kept in cabinets. If our women are
asked to utilize this jewellery in some useful activity, they never accept
this advice.
Due to this exhibitionism, women
wear expensive clothes and jewellery in different ceremonies. In order to
establish the image of their distinctive personality, they spend thousands. This attitude results in a demand
for money. Their husbands and fathers are forced to earn income in an unfair
manner by corruption and other malpractices. Instead of living a simple life,
an artificial lifestyle is adopted. A wicked personality is developed instead
of an innocent one. Jealousy takes the place of sympathy. Consequently, this
great university for the humanity becomes a school of teaching negativity and
corruption. It is essential now that our women
should choose one of these two alternatives: Whether they want to engage their
next generations in the endless struggle of this false glamour or they want
to teach them a simple and respectful life. A simple lifestyle is the path on
which, a person does not need artificial means to develop her personality. (Author: Professor Muhammad Aqeel, Translation: Mubashir
Nazir, Review: Muhammed Umar Khan)

occasions to spend money extravagantly. · Describe the impact
