Assalam-o-alikum!
I visited a website about astrology and numerology. I just want to know about whether this “ilam” has any solid ground. Actually there are many people specially someone who is very close to me but strongly believe on this knowledge, and he also have lot of knowledge about it I am witness that many people come to him to solve their and get remedy. This thing made me very suspicious that if it is not true than how people problems have been solved. It seemed as they will never solve but they solved.

Wa alaikum us salam wa Rahmatullah
If we accept the claim of such people, we will have no other option except leaving our faith in Allah. According to a Hadith:
حدثنا اسماعيل: حدثني مالك، عن صالح بن كيسان، عن عبيد الله بن عبد الله بن عتبة بن مسعود، عن زيد بن خالد الجهني أنه قال: صلى لنا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم صلاة الصبح بالحديبية، على إثر سماء كانت من الليلة، فلما انصرف النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أقبل على الناس، فقال: (هل تدرون ماذا قال ربكم). قالوا: الله ورسوله أعلم، قال: (أصبح من عبادي مؤمن بي وكافر، فأما من قال: مطرنا بفضل الله ورحمته، فذلك مؤمن بي كافر بالكواكب، وأما من قال: بنوء كذا وكذا، فذلك كافر بي مؤمن بالكواكب)۔
Zaid Ibn Khalid Al-Juhani narrated: Allah’s Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم prayed with us on the morning of Hudabiya. There was rain in the night. When the Prophet turned his face, he talked to people. He said: “Do you know what did your Lord say?” They said: “Allah and His prophet know better.” He said that Allah said: “Some of My slaves started their morning as believers in Me and someone of them became unbelievers (in Me.) Those who said: “The rain was due to God’s decision and blessing”, they are believers in Me and unbelievers in astrology. And those who said that the rain was due to some stars, they are unbelievers in Me and believers in astrology.”
Such mysterious studies like astrology, numerology, lucky stones and parapsychology are remnants of pagan religions. Now a question arises that how do people get benefit from them? Allah satisfies needs of some people and does not do so for some. The followers of such views take the former cases and use their propaganda machinery to spread such information and totally ignore the failure cases. If you just record all the people coming to the person mentioned by you, you will find that some were cured and some were not cured.
In most of the cases, the problem is solved due to some other scientific factors e.g. when a person describes his / her issue, it helps in his/her catharsis and the psychological issue is resolved.
Therefore, I shall strongly advise you to not believe in such things. Prayer is the best solution to all of our problems. wassalaam
